10 Year Anniversary Celebration!

The span of a decade holds many moments, and as I look back over the life of this church plant, two words really sum up those moments: Jesus’ kindness. I see his kindness in the joy-filled moments, when lost sons and daughters proclaimed faith for the first time, and we celebrated new life with baptisms. I see his kindness in the darkest, heaviest moments, when difficulty and trials seemed larger than life. There’s beauty in both because Jesus adores and loves his bride. No single person or set of circumstances can remove her from his sovereignty. As we continue to labor for the next 10 years to be a church that loves the city, and disciples who love that one person, we can rest in the knowledge that Jesus is in control and his kindness will win.

We have many moments to remember and celebrate as we approach our 10th anniversary, and we hope to do that collectively as a church body on Sunday, November 18th. Every campus and every service will take part in the celebration. We hope to communicate our sincere gratitude to each one of you, whether you’ve been with us since day one or just joined us a few weeks ago, for your love and service in this place.

Many hands have helped build this church. If you know of folks who were once with us, but no longer are due to a move or changing churches, would you take the time to extend an invitation for them to join us? There are two ways for you to invite your friends. On Sunday, November 4th we will have post-cards available for you to mail as an invitation. We have also attached an electronic invitation for your use. Just drag the invitation into an e-mail, personalize the message and send it on to old friends of Vintage21. We are excited to see you all on November 18th!

Thankful,
Tyler Jones
