who experienced unwarranted forgiveness from a friend. and Jesus.
READ HER STORY
During her first service at Vintage, when Tyler Jones welcomed those who were doubters and seekers, Alex felt like he was speaking directly to her. Never before had she heard that in a church service. And she continued coming back, week after week, to learn more about Jesus and His greatness. She even began to pray, asking God over and over to open her heart.
And He did. Almost a year later, on November 13, 2011, she was baptized at Vintage. The kindness of the Lord has continued to work in her life, as she has experienced restoration and redemption in new ways, and has even seen other close friends come to know Jesus! Vintage has given her a powerful picture of Christian community, and God has been gracious and faithful through the good times and the bad. Alex has seen not only her sin and need, but also the sufficiency of Jesus for all things, through the power of his life, death, resurrection, and continuing work today.
“Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” -Romans 12:4-5
Vintage exists to make much of Jesus. We do that by making disciples who know the gospel, live the gospel and advance the gospel. If you are interested in joining us on the mission God has called us to, we invite you to learn more about membership at Vintage Church by attending one of the quarterly New Members Classes.
At each local Vintage Church’s New Members Class, you will learn what Scripture says about the church, what Vintage believes, and how you can join in on the mission in the Triangle. You’ll also have a chance to build connections with other people who are pursuing membership. Watch for the next one on the Events page. You can also email email@example.com with questions about membership at Vintage.
