Life Class: Work and Vocation

Sunday, January 30, 7-8:30p
3-5 Grade Room
At this Life Class we'll be asking, "How does the gospel help me navigate work and vocation?" This Life Class will be taught by Josh Chatraw, executive director of the Center for Public Christianity and lead teacher for New City Fellows. No RSVP is required. Please email Eric Spivey with any questions.

Baptism Sunday

Sunday, February 6
Vintage Downtown - All Gatherings
Baptism is a public profession of one's faith in Jesus, a  visible symbol of God's saving work in an individual's life. Have questions about baptism: Do I need to be baptized? Is my kid ready to be baptized? What if I was baptized as a child? We would love to answer your questions. Drop by the Info Room after any gathering on Sunday January 9 to find out more. We will then celebrate these declarations of Jesus' work on February 6, Baptism Sunday. You can also email Eric Spivey for questions or more information.

Kids will begin the service with their family and following the music, any children (infants-5th grade) who wish to do so, can join Vintage Kids. We hope to continue to build up our volunteer team for Sunday gatherings so that we can offer Vintage Kids and more every Sunday. If you are interested in volunteering please email Phil Lauria.

Discipleship Intensive

Saturday, January 29, 10a-Noon
Vintage Church Durham
We are going to be starting a new monthly rhythm as a church. We want to provide a time where we can come together and see what it looks to know, follow, and worship Jesus more. This first session will be on the topic of discipleship and what it means to be a disciple and the function of the church in that. These times will be a great chance each month to hear from many different people and look at different books of the Bible together. No RSVP necessary as we gather at our Durham location this Saturday morning.

New City Catechism 10 Week Book Study

Sunday, January 9 - March 13
9-9:45a at Laurel Park Elementary
It is hard to share the gospel if we are not confident in what the gospel actually is. Our hope is that as we study this book together, we will feel more equipped to communicate the gospel and its theology to those we encounter. All are welcome to attend this 10 week study that will meet prior to our Sunday gatherings. Childcare and coffee will be provided. Books can be purchased at our informational table on Sundays. Please RSVP for this study here

New Member Class

Sunday, January 13, 8:30a
Thursday, February 17, 6:30p
Vintage West / Wake Zone Coffee
We have two opportunities coming up for you to learn more about who we are as a church, what we believe and how we seek to advance the Gospel in Cary, Apex and beyond. Attending these classes does not commit you to becoming a member, although it is a great way to learn more about the church, meet some of our leaders and ask any questions you may have. You can choose from either option. Come enjoy coffee and donuts on February 13 at 8:30a as we gather at  Vintage West, or come out to Wake Zone Coffee on February 17. Both of these classes will have Vintage Kids volunteers to hang out with any children that may come. You can RSVP by emailing Robert Reichel.

Sunday Lunches

Stick around after service and join us for a picnic on the second Sunday of each month. Our hope is that these monthly lunches will be an opportunity to connect with one another and meet new faces! Colder weeks we will gather indoors. Contact Elisha Kaufmann with any questions.

Men's Monthly Gathering

On the fourth Tuesday of every month, all men are invited to come hang out for a time of scripture, prayer and encouragement. Friends and neighbors of those at Vintage West are always welcomed! During these cooler Fall and Winter months, we will be gathering at 7p at Wake Zone on Old Jenks Rd. in Apex. For more information, please email Tyler Wendell.

Women's Monthly Gathering

You are invited to join virtually on the second Tuesday of every month for a Vintage West Women's Gathering. It will take place each month over Zoom from 7:30-8:30p. Our hope is this would provide an encouraging opportunity to grow together as daughters of Christ. Please contact Amy Kish to learn more.
