The Kingdom of Grace: Guarding Your Heart
Proverbs 4:23

Parents, join us as we celebrate Proverbs 4:23 at home as a family. Notice this scripture is different from what you heard preached on Sunday. It is more age appropriate for children while still conveying the same message – that our hearts must be guarded against sin. Use this scripture as you talk with your children but meditate on it as a family and yourself as you reflect on the sermon. This is a support- not a stand alone. Below are a variety of resources that mirror what your student is used to seeing and experiencing in a Vintage Kids classroom. Feel free to walk through this guide as it is or pick and choose based on your family. As always, discipleship of your children is of utmost importance, Vintage is here to partner in that walk. Add, continue conversations, and enhance through family time this week. Let us know how we can help!

Verse To Memorize With Your Kids:

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Use our resources below and print our memory verse out for your child to decorate and hang somewhere where you will see it and decorate it. If you don’t have a printer, feel free to write it on a piece of paper and color it!

Question 34: Since we are redeemed by grace alone, through Christ alone, must we still do good works and obey God’s Word?

Yes, so that our lives may show love and gratitude to God; and so that by our godly behavior others may be won to Christ.
