Serving at Durham

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies — in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.  1 Peter 4:10

Greeting Team Vintage Church is a family and you belong here.
Come help us demonstrate this through hospitality at our worship gatherings and special events. This team is responsible for preparing and serving communion,
getting the sanctuary ready for service, and welcoming folks as they come in.

Vintage Kids Vintage Kids is for infants through fifth grade students and provides an opening activity, teaching time, a discussion, and play time for children each week during the service. It’s our goal to provide a fun, engaging, and structured classroom time to support parents in teaching their children the good news about Jesus.

Connections Team Through our connections process new folks and Vintage regulars alike start by filling out a connect card or stopping by the Info Room. Through either of these they’ll indicate their interest in things like becoming a member, serving, or joining a community group, and connections volunteers both point them to the right information and walk with them through the process.

A/V Team Audio techs balance the sound of the band and mixes in all other spoken and recorded audio elements. Slide techs runs the slides/videos/images seen on the screen as well as the lighting.

Band Musical leaders at Vintage are part of an auditioned group of people dedicated to leading the musical portion of worship at Vintage with passion and excellence. Musicians at Vintage may serve during Sunday mornings, worship nights, college nights, or other special events as needed.

Justice & Mercy Team God calls us to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly before Him. Our justice and mercy team helps lead Vintage Durham in demonstrating the heart of God for the most vulnerable in our community. They help establish partnerships, provide opportunities for service, and trainings on issues of justice and the gospel.
