We’re Listening

Share your Story or request a conversation

Church can be hard. It’s full of broken, messy people, and Vintage is no exception. It was a big mistake that for many years we did not have an anonymous way to share the intuitions or weird feelings that may have been the Holy Spirit telling us something was wrong.

NO MORE. We want to create a safe and honest space for those who would like to share their story, ask questions, or express what they are carrying. This form is one way we invite you to do that. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you’d like, and you may do so anonymously. Every submission will be read with care by a small care team of 3, made up of a current staff member (Johna Schildroth), a local pastor (Jared Trumbo), and a non-staff board member (Brandy Thompson). This team was carefully chosen to include both men and women who are committed to listening with humility, honoring your story, and handling what is shared with care and discretion.

If you opt to include your contact information, someone from the team will connect with you within 72hrs. What you have to say MATTERS. If you prefer to speak with someone directly, we welcome that as well. There is an option at the end of the form to request a conversation.

Third-Party Assessment Survey

We are also working with Guidepost Solutions as they conduct an independent assessment of Vintage Church.

As part of that process, Guidepost distributed a survey with questions related to church culture, communication, leadership accountability, gender bias, and the impact of recent events.
If you have not yet completed the Guidepost survey and would like to participate, you are encouraged to do so before June 21. Your participation can help provide valuable insight as Guidepost seeks to understand the experiences and perspectives of our church community.
